This intense 2-day Hands on course was designed to take your cosmetic dentistry to the next level. Participants will learn every step of our workflow and have the ability practice the hands on techniques live during the course. Our goal is to take the mystery out of doing cosmetic cases and teach our predictable protocols from start to finish.

Everything from consultations, patient management, all the way to lab communication, preparation design and temporization techniques as well as cementation will be covered. This unique combination of lectures combined with hands on exercises will make this a two day event not to be missed.

DAY 1

Learn the full New Patient Experience Protocol- Digital and Analog Records, Photography Protocol, Consultation Language, Consultation Direct Mockup technique (Hands On)

Aesthetic Treatment Planning: Facially Driven Treatment planning and case review from simple to complex treatment planning

Direct Mockup Intraoral Design: Addition & Addition/ Reduction Mockup Techniques and exercises (Hands On)

Prep Design: Simple to complex preparation - Learn the tips and tricks to make your preparations as minimal as possible (Hands On)

Day 2

Case Discussion -Direct Mockup Intraoral Design- Learn how to do an Addition/ Reduction Mockup on a patient of Dr. Andi’s. You will use flowable composite to perform an addition/ reduction mockup on the case presented.

Learn step by step how to create shapes, add, reduce and carve until you have the facially driven design perfected.

Learn our workflow for lab communication: Intraoral scanning, Measurements, color discussion and communication.

Learn our try in and bonding protocol then cement restorations (Hands On)

Meet the Team

Dr. Andi-Jean Miro

Cosmetic Dentist / Art of Ceramic Instructor

Dr. Andi-Jean Miro earned her dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry. While at NYU, she completed a one-year advanced clinical concentration in Aesthetic Dentistry. Dr. Andi then went on to complete a prestigious one-year Clinical Residency in Brooklyn, NY. After that she joined a cosmetic focused practice -- Apa Aesthetic on the upper east side in Manhattan.

Dr. Andi is passionate about teaching and all things dental education. As a co-founder of Stribe she hopes to bring high quality dental education to the masses in an easy way. Dr. Andi currently holds several academic teaching positions. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor at New York University College of Dentistry as well as an adjunct faculty at Nova Southeastern University in Florida.

Dr. Rhodri Thomas

Cosmetic Dentist / Art of Ceramic Instructor

Undeniably committed to his career, Rhodri believes it is his background as an artist that has spurred on his love of aesthetic dentistry. As a landscape painter, his eye for colour and composition transfers from the canvas into his dental work, recreating the natural landscapes of the mouth. Rhodri lectures and teaches internationally on the subject of aesthetics, presenting at conferences or running courses across the globe, and publishes articles in leading dental magazines.

Dr. Rhodri is the founder of ‘Art of Dentistry’ a series of unique training programs and aesthetic-based courses for dentists that run both at the academy and worldwide. He believes every clinician has a natural creative ability inside of them and enjoys nothing more than helping to ignite it.
